Tube network radio receiver '' Belarus ''.

Tube radios.DomesticSince 1950, the network lamp radio receiver "Belarus" has been producing the Minsk Radio Plant. It is a 13-tube 6-band class 1 superheterodyne with mains supply. The design is borrowed from the 1939 "Blaupukt-8w79" receiver. In addition to smooth tuning, the receiver has a fixed push-button tuning device for 6 preselected radio stations. Two buttons in the LW range and four in the MW range. The receiver is assembled in a wooden box measuring 690x305x455 mm and finished with walnut veneer. On the front panel of the receiver there is a vertical scale, a loudspeaker and knobs, control buttons and an optical tuning indicator. The control of the receiver is as follows: left small knob for volume, large knob for treble tone, middle small knob for bass tone, large knob for IF bandwidth control, right small knob for range selector, large knob - smooth tuning. The receiver operates in the ranges DV 2000 ... 732 m, SV 577 ... 187.5 m, KV-1 55.3 ... 32.3 m, KV-2 31.9 ... 30.6 m, KV-3 25.8 ... 24.8 m, KV-4 19.9 ... 19.4 m. IF 466 kHz. Power consumption from the network is 180 W. Rated output power 4 W. Sensitivity on all ranges 50 µV. The sensitivity from the pickup jacks is 0.2 V. The local oscillator frequency drift in 10 minutes (after 5 minutes of warm-up) on LW and MW 1 kHz, on HF up to 4 kHz. The frequency band of sound reproduced by the acoustic system is 80 ... 6000 Hz. Adjacent channel selectivity 60 dB. Selectivity on the mirror channel: at LW 50 dB, SV 42 dB and HF 26 dB.
