Lighthouse black-and-white television receiver.

Black and white televisionsDomesticThe television receiver of the black-and-white image "Mayak" has been producing the Aleksandrovsky Radio Plant since 1959. TV "Mayak", its other name "Mayak-1" was produced in an experimental series. It is energy efficient, has small dimensions and weight, an original design and a number of new circuit solutions. The TV is assembled from ready-made blocks, each of which performs several functions. For example, in the IF amplification unit, the triode parts of the radio tubes are used for preliminary bass amplification and in the vertical sweep generator. This design made it possible to reduce the number of radio tubes to 12. The TV provides reception of programs on any of 12 channels at a sensitivity of 250 µV. It uses a 35LK2B kinescope. The TV has a bass amplifier input, which allows you to play gramophone and magnetic recordings. The output power of the amplifier on the 1GD-9 loudspeaker is 1 W, the audio frequency band is 100 ... 6000 Hz. The TV is powered by 127 or 220 VAC, consuming 120 watts. From the mains winding of the power transformer, taps are made, connected to a switch, the handle of which is brought out to the rear wall. By rotating it, you can maintain the voltage on the lamps within normal limits, if the mains voltage fluctuates within 40%. The neon lamp located on the front panel allows you to select the desired voltage. Thanks to this, you can do without a stabilizer or autotransformer with a voltmeter. The dimensions of the TV are 485х365х495 mm. Weight 22 kg. Price 129 rubles (1961).
